We are pleased to announce two student travel bursaries to attend the ESI Summer School.
Evidence Synthesis Ireland, in collaboration with Cochrane Ireland, is hosting a three-day Summer School at the University of Galway, from 26th to 28th May 2026. Introduction to Evidence Synthesis: Summer School on Systematic Reviews and Beyond is a hands-on course designed for beginners and those looking to refresh their skills in systematic reviews and evidence synthesis. While the focus is on health, the methods taught are applicable across multiple fields. Through interactive lectures, discussions, and practical exercises, participants will learn how to formulate research questions, develop protocols, conduct literature searches, extract data, assess risk of bias, and apply tools like GRADE to evaluate the certainty of evidence.
