Cochrane announced their new updated Handbook for Systematic Reviews of Interventions.
The handbook, which is available free online, is useful for anyone conducting systematic reviews. It has updated methodology as well as best practices in designing, conducting and interpreting systematic reviews to inform decision-making in health and healthcare interventions.
The updated edition includes:
- A new chapter on issues regarding intervention complexity
- A new chapter on network meta-analysis
- New developments on assessing risk of bias
- New chapters on how planning review’s questions, comparisons and outcomes
