Dr Vishnu Renjith

Dr Vishnu Renjith is a Lecturer and Program Director at the School of Nursing and Midwifery, Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI), where he leads postgraduate programs in Advanced Leadership while contributing to teaching and research. He is also an Academic Editor for PLOS ONE and an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the School of Medicine, Cardiff University.

He earned his PhD, MSc, and BSc in Nursing from Manipal Academy of Higher Education, India. Previously, he served as the National Coordinator for the Indian Council of Medical Research Stroke Clinical Trial Network. His research focuses on neurosciences, public health, non-pharmacological interventions, and nursing, with methodological expertise in clinical trials, qualitative research, systematic reviews, and mixed methods. Dr Renjith has led seven funded research projects, published over 70 scholarly manuscripts, and delivered more than 80 invited talks. His contributions to healthcare research have been recognized through fellowships with the Royal Society of Public Health (UK) and the Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery, RCSI.

As an Evidence Synthesis Ireland Fellow, he is expanding his expertise in evidence synthesis and knowledge translation, further strengthening his ability to generate and apply high-quality research to inform healthcare practice and policy.
