Dr Stephanie Craig is a Lecturer in the School of Nursing & Midwifery at Queen’s University Belfast and a registered nurse with clinical experience in stroke care and older adults. Her research focuses on digital learning for healthcare professionals and improving care for older adults.
She completed her PhD in 2025 on Dementia-Friendly Communities in Northern Ireland: A Realist Evaluation. Throughout her PhD, she worked on projects supporting healthcare professionals in optimising nursing practice through digital activities and improving support for people with dementia. She has received multiple awards at both regional and national levels.
She is looking forward to embarking on a methodological review of methods and mechanisms for measuring and monitoring outcomes from newborn screening.
