Dr. Ruth Usher is a lecturer in Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy, in University College Cork, Ireland. Her primary research interest is in gerontology. Her PhD research explored the role of occupational therapy in assessing and supporting older adults’ decision-making capacity. She is also particularly interested in translation of research into practice and is excited to enhance her skills and knowledge of evidence synthesis over the course of the fellowship.
