Dr Kate O’Doherty is a Specialist Registrar with over 8 years of experience working in clinical Obstetrics and Gynaecology throughout Ireland. She graduated from Medicine in the University of Galway in 2014 and since then has completed a Diploma in Clinical Education and a Graduate Certificate in Obstetric and Gynaecology Ultrasound. She is interested in research which investigates ways to improve outcomes for mothers and newborns. Her research on this project with Prof Valerie Smith will investigate whether care bundles can effectively and safely reduce caesarean section rates.
