Dr Hazel Ní Chonchubhair

Dr Hazel Ní Chonchubhair is an Assistant Professor of General Nursing at the School of Nursing, Psychotherapy & Community Health (SNPCH), Dublin City University (DCU). She is a Nursing graduate of Trinity College Dublin, where she also completed her MSc in Specialist Perioperative Nursing. Dr Ní Chonchubhair obtained her PhD from the Department of Surgery, Trinity College Dublin, where she investigated the epidemiological, clinical, and genetic aspects of chronic pancreatitis. She has expertise in quantitative and qualitative research and guideline development in the area of chronic disease. Dr Ní Chonchubhair has a keen interest in chronic disease management research and is module coordinator of the MSc in Specialist Nursing, Chronic Disease Management pathway in SNPCH DCU. Dr Ní Chonchubhair also has an interest in data and digital health technologies to augment health systems, and is module coordinator of the Nursing Informatics, Leadership, and Management module in SNPCH DCU.

Dr Ní Chonchubhair looks forward to working with Evidence Synthesis Ireland on the review of the WHO Global Diabetes Compact Core Metrics hosted by RCSI.
