Dr Áine Varley is a Specialist Registrar in Public Health Medicine. During her post-graduate training, she was awarded a Professional Diploma and Master’s in Health Economics, and a Master’s in Public Health. She is a member of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland. In addition to her work as a medical doctor, she has previously worked as a health technology assessor at the National Centre for Pharmacoeconomics.
Áine is passionate about using her skills and experience in health economics and health technology assessment to inform Public Health practice in Ireland. She is looking forward to working with the Health Technology Assessment Directorate at HIQA to undertake a systematic review of the cost-effectiveness of teledermatology for the triage of primary care referrals.
