ESI is proud to support undergraduate researchers through our Summer Scholarship Programme, which builds students’ knowledge, awareness, and experience in evidence synthesis. This month’s spotlight is on our students at Queen’s University Belfast, who are part of the ESI Summer Scholarship Programme under the mentorship of Prof Bronwen Connolly.
Chloe Bond is a third-year medical student at Queen’s University Belfast with a passion for research and improving patient outcomes through evidence-based medicine. Her previous research experience includes wet-lab work at the Joslin Diabetes Center, Harvard Medical School, where she developed an interest in translating scientific discovery into meaningful clinical impact.
Kate Bennett is a final-year medical student at Queen’s University Belfast with a strong interest in critical care, research, and academic medicine. Kate will be on a systematic review exploring pharmacological therapies to support muscle recovery in intensive care patients.
