Congratulations to Sara Yousif, who received an ESI Summer Scholarship (2026). Sara is a Medical Doctor and an MPH candidate at University College Dublin, and an Ireland Fellows Programme awardee. Originally from Sudan, Sara holds an MBBS and a Bachelor of Anaesthesia, bringing clinical experience in high-dependency surgical settings alongside growing expertise in public health research. Her interests span antimicrobial resistance, One Health, and the responsible integration of AI into health systems. She is committed to evidence-informed approaches to population health and hopes to pursue a research career that translates evidence into policies that improve health equity.
