Congratulations to Ireland Scott, who received the ESI Summer Scholarship 2026. Ireland Scott is a 3rd year MB student in the School of Medicine at the University of Galway. The project will conduct a study within a review (SWAR) to identify the most common rationales, streamlining techniques, and reporting guidelines used in health topic-related published rapid reviews. Findings from this study will hopefully inform future methodological guidance, highlight gaps in transparency, and support an improved standardisation of rapid review reporting.

The ESI Summer Scholarships offer undergraduates a chance to learn important skills in evidence synthesis. Students work on projects that involve design, conducting, reporting, or translating knowledge. It’s a great way to gain practical experience and improve understanding of gathering and presenting evidence effectively.
