Congratulations to Xuenan Pang, a PhD scholar with Evidence Synthesis Ireland, for the first Registered Report published in the Journal of Clinical Epidemiology through Elsevier’s pilot program. This article is a protocol for a systematic review [Stage I] comparing various artificial intelligence (AI) based tools with conventional manual approaches in the systematic review process. As reported by Xuenan, ‘As we are heading into Stage II, I’m excited to see our contributions shape the growing conversation around AI in systematic reviews.’
