This course will help to improve knowledge and awareness on evidence synthesis amongst service users, practitioners, investigators, policy makers and the public. The workshop will be pitched at an introductory level and will introduce the importance of and basics of evidence synthesis. In addition, this workshop will provide information on the different methods of evidence synthesis that can be used to answer different questions (e.g., reviews of effectiveness, factors/experiences, diagnostic test accuracy, prevalence, what works for whom and in what circumstances (realist reviews)). While open to all, we expect this workshop to target the public and policy makers.
