Bernard McCarthy is a lecturer in the School of Nursing and Midwifery, University of Galway. Bernard lectures on systematic reviews to students at the University of Galway, is a Cochrane author and is a member of the teaching faculty of ESI, having previously delivered systematic review training with Cochrane Ireland. Bernard’s methodological areas of expertise are randomised trials, systematic reviews and meta-analyses.
